Laced with melodious riffs and a compelling personal story behind each song, Deeper Than Purple is Rosli Mansor's follow-up album to Dragged (his 2007 debut instrumental album) and this latest album is akin to an epic music journey, bringing its listeners through a labyrinth of emotions as experienced by the protagonist Pizza Head Boy.

Using instrumental music as an avenue of expression and through his unique and signature style of songwriting, combined with various music styles, a very distinctive music album was born. Songs written from the heart that touches the soul. From the bittersweet "Sorry I Am Late", the romantic "Venice - The Love Story", the haunting "What The Moon Said" to the agonising Last Man Standing, there is a song for everyone from Rosli's second album.

The 13-track Deeper Than Purple marks his continued foray into the instrumental genre and is officially released at the album launch held at The Arts House, Play Den in April 2010. Deeper Than Purple's captivating and raw visual feast on the 3-panel album cover was created closely with Singapore creative design house Luscious Ink. Each character found on the album cover is correlated to each song on Deeper Than Purple that helps to tell the story behind each one.
